Getting REAL with Jesus!
Children do not have a "junior" or "little" Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us and lives in them. This amazing Spirit in your child needs nurturing, just as your spirit needs nurturing. Teaching them about the spirit realm and how to listen and see in the spirit is a way to make Jesus and Father God real to them in such a way that no one can talk them out of their belief.
Have you noticed the trends?
People today are not accepting "religion" because it seems fake and dead to them. They are far less likely than their parents to just accept rules and call it Christianity. They want the REAL thing.
Society does not value religion and church the way it used to. Therefore, there is far greater pressure to turn away from God.
Schools and society at all levels teach against Kingdom values and belittle belief in a God of creation over evolution.
There is more persecution and mockery of Christians in today's world than previous generations in the US.
How bad could it get?
Before I unpack the specifics, I want you to consider for a moment, the results of doing nothing. Ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away; it makes the problem worse!
People are turning away from God. "If you are not with Him, you are against Him." Matt. 12:30
There are people in the world trying to pull both you and your children into situations with horrible consequences. You are not always going to be around to protect them.
Schools and media are programming people for the devil at an alarming rate.
Communication is reduced to texting incomplete sentences.
Friends are checked or unchecked on Face Book.
Google is the truth about every subject.
What can be done?
Learn God's ways and His word. Deut. 11:18-21 Teach your children...when you are at home or on the road, going to bed or getting up...so that you and your children may flourish...
Learning to hear the Lord helps us discern good from evil, righteous from unrighteous, and truth from lies. Like our bodies are strengthened with exercise, the inner witness of the human spirit grows stronger with use and exercise!
Give yourself and your children experiences with Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit that are REAL.
Encourage a relationship with Jesus that is their own and it will not fail them when they leave home.
Teach them truth and discernment with practice in a safe environment.
Develop a relationship with God of your own. Be their example!

R elationship
What is a real relationship and how are they formed? In this age of technology our children don't always understand what is involved in lasting, stable relationships. A friend is someone you check off on Face Book and communication is texting incomplete sentences across the room. Truth is anything you read on the internet and you can Google anything you need to know.
In order to have a relationship, you must spend time with a person and learn their character and the way they act, what they consider important, and whether they can be trusted. This section will include: Religion vs. Relationships. Who is God? Who is Jesus? Who is Holy Spirit? If we learn the authentic; the counterfeit is easily recognized.
E xperience
There are multitudes of ways to experience God when you are sensitive to Him and have eyes to see what He is doing everywhere. We will practice 14-15 different ways and help you notice God working in life situations all around you. These can be practiced with your children in everyday life once you recognize them.
A pplication
Application and experience go hand in hand as we learn and apply the principles and mysteries of God and His ways. How do we discern truth, wisdom, our identity, boundaries? How do we navigate the holidays? How do we navigate everyday life and keep our faith in tact? How do we give our children the best chance to make it in this world?
L isten
There are multiple ways God speaks to each of us and they are not always the same. He is talking all the time, but how do we trust it is God we are hearing and not ourselves or the enemy? How do we begin to listen and what are the common blocks to hearing? All of these questions are addressed and practiced as we delve into this most important connection to the God of the universe!
